| Parts | Power Tubes (pentodes, beam power, power triodes, etc.) are warranted against failure for 90 days from the date of purchase. |
| Preamp Tubes (dual triodes, triode/pentode compactrons, etc.) are warranted against failure for 180 days from the date of purchase. |
| Speakers are warranted against failure for 90 days from the date of purchase. |
| Components (transformers, capacitors, switches, knobs, etc.) are warranted against failure for 3 years from the date of purchase. |
| Workmanship | We warrant our products (custom amplifiers, pedals, etc.) as free from defects in workmanship for life to the original owner. We warrant our service and repair as free from defects in workmanship for life to the owner of the amplifier at the time the work was performed. |
| Exceptions | Common sense applies here. If your amplifier fails due to neglect, abuse, or stupidity it's your fault and the warranty won't get it fixed. Throwing it down a set of stairs, dropping it off the back of the truck, plugging it into a 220VAC outlet, and spilling your beer into the back of it are good examples. |
| Other exciting details | Warranty service is performed on our premises. You are responsible for any costs associated with shipping your amplifier both to and from our premises. Please see the shipping page for limitations on our liability while your amplifier is in transit. |
| In the event of covered tube failures we may elect to ship replacements directly to you at our discretion. In these cases, we'll pay the shipping. |
| In the event of covered component failures we may, wholly at our own discretion, offer to contract with a qualified technician in your area to correct the problem. You always have the option of returning your amplifier to us for repair on our premises, but using a local tech will save you the shipping costs. It will also introduce you to your local amplifier tech -- someone you should probably know and visit occasionally anyhow. |
